We didn't do much in Rehab, a stark contrast from our previous Internal Medicine rotation. This was one of those lazy afternoons when we popped a movie — My Sassy Girl this time — and everyone's attention was on the screen, except mine and Lennie's. I looked around and thought to myself, "I'm surrounded by lovelorn friends, all of them wishing for someone to hold hands with. That's why the charming lady in the movie captivates them like crazy."
I was the Liaison Officer, a post I did very badly in. Inside the call room was a huge white board with notes that summed up the major things we had to do and the requirements we had to pass.
I had my two of my weekends off. Last Saturday I attended a church meeting that lasted an entire day. I missed my church family!
My brother's shoes, which I wore.
I also got to attend the Youth fellowship. Kuya Lito, the youth pastor, did a series on the Beatitudes. Here we were on "Blessed are the peacemakers." I was convicted by the message in so many levels.
My brother treated me to a delicious dinner in this Ilocano restaurant along Timog Avenue. The bagnet was really, truly good I want to eat there again. I'm a big fan of Northern Philippine cuisine. Scratch the fact, too, that it is high in salt and fat. Someday I shall get over it.
during the N times that i've attempted to eat in midtown diner (as per your recommendation), it was always close! hopefully i get to try it soon :p -AA
ReplyDeleteJust had lunch there today. Sayang, yayain ka namin next time. First time ko tikman ang carbonara—rich and flavorful. Daming bacon bits.
